Workforce alignment gap to validate
Which employers value the resulting skills or recognized credential?
Documented state signal
Washington's State Board of Education describes a CTE graduation pathway aligned with a student's High School and Beyond Plan. Students can complete an eligible Core Plus program or a qualifying two-credit course sequence leading to a recognized credential or dual credit, with additional rigor and progression conditions.

Identified evidence / purchasing gap
This is a graduation pathway option, not a universal credential mandate. Specific course approval, local funding, product eligibility, and purchasing authority remain unverified.
Choose an exact course, credential or service only after the need is confirmed. These are candidate capabilities, not approved solutions or a quoted bundle.

Relevant capability: Digital CTE and elective course materials.
Fit to test: Which courses meet the selected pathway’s sequence and rigor requirements?
Before recommending: Validate exact course, state standards, teacher requirements, accessibility and licensing.
Sales + state / district leaders: obtain the local needs assessment, participation and completion baseline, existing tools and named buyer.
Workforce partners: validate occupations, employer recognition and relevant next steps; no local shortage is quantified in this crosswalk.
Product + Research + Implementation: produce an exact standards / credential crosswalk, evidence, staffing, accessibility, integration, cost and delivery plan.
Government Affairs: resolve the cited policy or funding question with the responsible agency. Public lobbying registration does not establish ownership of this pursuit.
State-specific next step: Crosswalk district CTE sequences and credential preparation to the applicable pathway rules, then qualify the local program budget.
Proposed measures: access to the selected pathway, participation, completion, qualifying credential attainment and verified next destinations. Set baselines and targets with the buyer; none are claimed here.
Analytical product-family crosswalk. State policy signals are sourced; learner and workforce gaps are questions for local validation, not measured shortages. No state-specific product approval, available budget, integration or outcome is established by a proposed match. Product sources checked 2026-09-12.
