Pearson people & state presence

Registered representation, advertised responsibilities, and the questions to validate inside Pearson.

A documented baseline, with clear limits.

Initial review of ten Priority 1 states; counts cover matched Pearson-named clients, not an exhaustive audit of all affiliates or employees. Lobbyist registration does not establish an employee relationship, CTE assignment, access to a legislator, or revenue opportunity.

Priority 1 states first

Four states have verified individual counts within matched client records. Indiana has a dated firm listing. Two searches found no Pearson-named match, and three remain unresolved. These evidence colors are independent of the map’s opportunity tiers.

Oklahoma: research not yet completed

This first lobbying review covers the ten Priority 1 states. No count has been established for this state; this is not evidence of zero representation.

How to use these findings

Use registrations to identify a public representation footprint and questions for Government Affairs. A larger count does not automatically justify more sales investment. State funding, product eligibility, buyer authority, and procurement timing still determine the opportunity.
